Music festivals are back in full force, and I was back working with the Disco Donnie Presents team, this time for Sunset Music Festival in Tampa. Since I'm fully vaccinated, vaccination rates are up, and the CDC has rolled back restrictions, this was the most normal event I've covered since before the pandemic. That meant I could get back to shooting some of my favorite types of photos, wide crowd shots.
I was also assigned to shoot the house and techno stage again. Night Bass Records held a takeover on my stage, which provided some back 2 back sets with their artists, like Sinden b2b Kendoll and Chris Lorenzo b2b Wax Motif. However, some of my favorite photos of the weekend came from over at the Eclipse Stage, which had these three massive structures that extended from the stage to front of house. It was one of the most unique stage designs I've shot and looked great with a fisheye lens.
